Terms of Service
Welcome to LUMÉ. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the LUMÉ website and your purchase of any products offered through it (the “Store”), operated by LUMÉ Beauty Co. (“LUMÉ”, “we”, “us”). By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to these Terms.
1. Orders & acceptance
All orders are offers to purchase and are subject to acceptance by us. We may refuse or cancel an order at our discretion — for example, if a product is out of stock, if pricing was listed in error, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, you will receive a full refund.
2. Pricing
Prices are shown in US dollars and are exclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Promotional pricing (such as the $79.99 launch offer) is available for a limited time and may change without notice. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors even after an order has been submitted.
3. Payment
Payment is processed securely by our third-party payment providers. We do not store your full card details on our servers. You represent that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.
4. Intellectual property
All content on the Store — including text, graphics, logos, and the LUMÉ name — is owned by or licensed to us and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce or reuse it without our written permission.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LUMÉ is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Store or products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question.
6. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. We may update these Terms from time to time; the version posted on this page applies to your order.
Returns & Refunds
60-Night Glow Guarantee. Try LUMÉ risk-free for 60 nights. If you're not happy for any reason, we'll refund your purchase in full.
How it works
- Email returns@lumeglow.co within 60 days of delivery with your order number.
- We'll send a prepaid return label for US orders. You keep the free travel case on us.
- Once your return is scanned by the carrier, your refund is issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Conditions
Products must be returned in usable condition (light wear is fine — this is a satisfaction guarantee, not a “like-new” policy). Refunds cover the product price; original expedited-shipping upgrades, if any, are non-refundable. Damaged or defective units are replaced free of charge — just send a photo.
Shipping
- Free standard shipping on all US orders.
- Orders ship within 1–2 business days; delivery typically takes 3–7 business days.
- International shipping is available at checkout where offered; duties and taxes may apply and are the responsibility of the recipient.
- You'll receive a tracking link by email once your order leaves our facility.
Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy and only collect what we need to fulfil your order and improve your experience.
What we collect
- Order details — name, shipping/billing address, email, and phone (for delivery updates).
- Payment data — handled directly by our payment processor; we never see or store full card numbers.
- Usage data — anonymised analytics (pages viewed, device type) to help us improve the site.
How we use it
To process and ship orders, provide support, send order updates, and — only if you opt in — send occasional offers. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time via the link in any email.
Sharing
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the Store (payment, shipping, analytics) and never sell your personal information.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing privacy@lumeglow.co. We honour applicable rights under GDPR and CCPA.
Safety & Disclaimer
LUMÉ is a low-level LED red light therapy device intended for cosmetic use. It emits no UV light. To use safely:
- Do not stare directly into the LEDs; keep eyes closed during sessions.
- Consult a doctor before use if you are pregnant, have a photosensitive condition, or take photosensitising medication.
- Discontinue use and seek advice if you experience irritation.
These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Individual results vary.
